Okay, this is a quick post as I got less than 3 months to pass the CCNA certification’s 200-105 test. So, if anyone who passed the ICND1 test, then you got like less than 90 days to study hard and set an appointment with Vue testing center. If you have not taken the ICND1 or you are barely studying the 200-125 material, then I suggest to wait and focus on the new 200-301. Other than that, this is the free or good value material for people who wants to take the 200-105 test.
BOOK ISBM: 9781587205798 The "CCNA Routing and Switching ICND2 200-105 Official Cert Guide" by Wendell Odom is going cheap as in less than 90 days, these books will be obsolete. Please get a new book as these contains a CD-ROM or code to download some practice questions. Good book and easy to read, sometimes. 4.5 of 5 stars!
Udemy has some online courses and some are worth to check out if you have a spare $20. If you are poor like me, then there is David Bombal's CCNA OSPF troubleshooting: Cisco CCNA and ICND2 exam prep and others that are free to watch. I recommend his other free videos that involves with CCNA.
Now let’s talk about some online quizzes and mock test.
The Free CCNA & CCNP Practice Exams from Learncisco.net offers some questions that can help you. Keep in mind that these questions are not from the test, but a way to show you how much you have learned the material. Use this website if you have time to spare. I think these questions are pretty easy, but a little outdated. I believe this web site is missing section 5.0 (Infrastructure Maintenance) as I don't see any Northbound and southbound APIs questions. Still good.
ITexams.com has some questions, however, you need to provide an email to register. Some questions are easy and some were pretty tough. I like it, but it does not offer a way for you to save your progress. I still recommend it.
NetworkLessons.com offers some lessons and videos, but it is a monthly membership. I recommend you try the $1 seven day trial and see if you like how he teaches the stuff. I think the mock exam was good.
Nwexam.com offers $27 mock exam and claims that has over 870 basic questions. OF course, you have unlimited attempts for only 2 months. I tried it and I like the free version, but its only ten questions, if you register with an email. Check it out if you have the money.
If you have the money and/or you are serious about passing the test, then $99 ExSim-Max from Boson is the best investment you can purchase. I tried it and I like how some questions simulate the CLI (command line interface) and you have to see what is wrong with the network. I really recommend it, but there is no support for Mac, but only Window computers. If you want, please google "Boson Netsim discount code coupon" if you want a discount, as there are like 10-30% off coupons online.
These are some study material that I use, but there are tons that I have not mention. However, for people who want to take ICND2 test, we don't have the time to review all of them. We got till February 23 (which is a Sunday) to take the test. So good luck and if you want more information then I recommend that you should check out Reddit's CCNA subreddit for more information or Cisco's 200-105 exam topics and information
Good luck to the people who are taking the 200-105 or the 200-125!
